WHO IS GABE PETERSEN AND...
Why Should I Read This?
I still remember the day I realized I didn't have enough money to pay my mortgage.
I had been struggling to grow my e-commerce business and though I was working hard building what I thought was a "freedom business", there was still more money going out than coming in.
The thought of losing my house and telling my close friends and family that I had failed was too much to bare.
I felt deflated, helpless and hopeless.
A year prior to that point I had left my high paying corporate job to follow my dream of becoming an entrepreneur, building my own business and finally achieving financial and time freedom.
And I worked hard. Every. Single. Day.
Whenever I ran into an obstacle, I would pivot, trying different business models and methods of growing my business.
But it never seemed to make any difference - I always felt like a slave to the business that was supposed to bring me freedom.
On Set at My First Business, Dreading Every Day of Work
So on that day, looking at my spreadsheet and seeing a red number in the Total Profit column, knowing that in one week I had a mortgage payment due that I couldn't afford, I finally decided enough was enough.
I needed to find a business model that actually worked.
I needed to find a way to achieve financial and time freedom for myself and for my family.
...I swear, sometimes when you make a strong, decisive enough decision, the "universe", or luck, or whatever you want to call it steps in to help.
The very next week a friend of mine asked if I wanted to "flip a house" with him.
Up till that point, the only thing I knew about "flipping houses" is what I had learned on HGTV.
But I knew my uncle was in real estate, and he was wealthy.
And that was enough for me.
I agreed, and within a few months we had bought and flipped a house to the tune of $84,000 in profit!
On top of that, we took what was an eye-sore in an otherwise decent neighborhood and turned it into something the neighbors were proud to have on their street.
I was on cloud nine.
My First Flip
From that point on I dedicated my entire work-life to studying and (most importantly) working real estate.
...man, once you really commit, things move fast.
After that first flip I got into wholesaling single family houses through assignments of contract.
From there, I doubled down on flipping single family houses and then quickly jumped into multifamily rental properties.
After multifamily, I set my eyes on commercial grade parks.
In July of 2020, just three short years after closing on my first flip property, I acquired my first commercial grade mobile home and RV park.
And within a year and a half from closing on that first MHP, I had acquired four self-storage facilities and an RV park.
My First Mobile Home Park Acquisition
After finally experiencing the success and freedom that I had been aching for all these years, I decided it was time to give back, so created The Real Estate Investing Club podcast and YouTube.
I don't have exact numbers but if I were to calculate it, I'm sure 99% of the successful investors I interview on my podcast had a story similar to mine.
Nearly all of my interviewees had faced financial ruin at one point in their lives and used real estate as a vehicle to bounce back and achieve true, freedom-giving wealth
The Real Estate Investing Club Podcast & YouTube Show
I tell you all of this to show you that no matter where you are today, if you want to achieve financial and time freedom, it is my strong belief that you (yes, YOU!) can do so through the vehicle of real estate investing.
And I want to help you do that too.
Not having enough money to live a truly free life is one of the worst feelings in the world.
A feeling no one should have to experience.
If you want to finally break free and finally experience financial and time freedom in your life, real estate is the most effective way to get there.
I am a living testament to that fact - from abjectly broke to cash-flow plentiful in a matter of a few years.
I want you to have the same experience as me.
Which is why I created my book, Jump Start.
I took everything I learned creating my real estate wealth story and packed it into this book.
So you can use my story to "jump start" your own real estate wealth journey.
If I can do it, you can do it.
You just need a roadmap to help you get there.
